The Learning Garden has 16 years of experience in the Westchester area. It is Somers’ first all day Child Care and Learning Center caring for children in an enriching and nurturing environment.
The Learning Garden’s developmentally appropriate curriculum provides a solid foundation towards developing your child’s full academic potential. We offer hands on experiences enriched with creative play, expressive art, music, language, math and science. Your young learner will be empowered with learning concepts and the Kindergarten Readiness skills he or she will need to feel confident in school. Our team focuses on socialization and conflict resolution techniques to promote good self-esteem and a positive self-image. We provide a safe and healthy environment, and motivate children to adopt a love of learning.
The Learning Garden is an advocate of physical fitness and believes that everyone can benefit from regular exercise. At The Learning Garden we know that physical activity is paramount to developing strong muscles, and bones, fit bodies, prevents childhood obesity, helps children sleep better, and reduces the risk of disease. At The Learning Garden you can be assured that your child will be engaged in the three elements of fitness on a daily basis:
